Claim your own life and path!

“Every head must do its own thinking.” ~ African Proverb

“The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.”  ~ Joseph Campbell

What a challenge it is for each of us today to truly know who we are!  The world outside our own skin is so complex, so busy, so stimulating, so engrossing and so very convincing.  We are surrounded by media, society, and people who are so keen to tell us what we want and what we should do.  Then, on top of it all, not only is it busy outside, but our minds are just as busy inside trying to process all of the stuff that bombards us, day by day by day.

No wonder we get confused!

So what’s a possible solution?   Try giving yourself quiet time and space to tune into your very own thoughts and feelings and inner knowing.   It’s only when we shut out the noise of the world for a time that we can begin to connect with our own truth and discover who we really are.

If you don’t know how to handle quiet time and space on your own, then please contact me.  I would love to provide some ways, including journaling, that can help you ask yourself questions and then generate your own answers.  There are many ways to do this, and by choosing what works for you, it can provide you with vital information about what’s important to you.

The key to fulfilment in life is to find it through your own experience — from your own insights, discoveries and demonstrating to yourself that you can do it.  This is why I love teaching  journal writing!   It is exhilarating to  see people make time to go inside themselves and by writing their own words, find new dimensions of themselves.

Is it time to make your life your own?
