Are there professional standards for the coaching industries?
Yes, there is a code of ethics, core competencies, accreditation processes, and both the International Coaching Federation and the International Association of Coaching promote the advancement of coaches. As an Certified Professional Life Coach and a member of the ICF and the IAC, I abide by all their rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
How will I know you are the right coach for me?
During the complimentary session/initial conversation session, we will identify if this is an appropriate fit. So before you say “yes” and are accepted into my coaching practice, you will have a sample of what the coaching experience will be like. Until then, click on the Meet Heidi page to learn more about me and my approach in coaching.
How do I get started in the coaching process?
If you are interested in beginning the coaching process, please contact me so we can schedule our complimentary session/initial discovery session to further explore the details of the coaching relationship.
What can you expect from me as your coach?
- To be a partner in bringing out the best, the deepest, and the truest in you
- To provide safety, encouragement and support; an environment in which you can relax and explore
- To respect the confidentiality of the agreements we make
- To expand your view of what is possible and promote discovery of new insights
- To give you input, straight feedback and operate as a sounding board
- To listen carefully to what you say and ask questions that increase awareness
- To be an ongoing resource for you in accomplishing your intentions and goals
Security & Confidentiality
All materials are proprietary and all conversations are strictly confidential, as the law allows. Issues on confidentiality are paramount to this relationship. As your Coach, I understand that nothing in this relationship shall be disclosed by me outside of our conversations. There are times when alluding to others may be helpful, however I will never mention a name or give any information that would lead you, or someone else, to infer that the discussion was about them or you as a client.
Can I contact you in-between our scheduled coaching sessions?
Yes! There might be times where you may have an urgent question, request for feedback, or want a confidential response to some situation where you don’t want to wait for your next call. This is “Just In Time Coaching” and I don’t bill extra time for it, but I do ask that you keep the extra call to 20 minutes, please. My personal contact information will be given to you once you have been accepted to my practice.
What if I sign up for this and decide it is not right for me? Do you have a money back guarantee?
Yes, I call it my “Participate or Your Money Back Guarantee”. I want you to join me in the coaching experience. You are looking for this resource and I do not want to delay you any longer. And, in order for you to feel comfortable with your decision, I am going to take away any financial risk you may perceive.
If, after participating fully, you do not agree that the process of coaching is worth every penny of the price you paid, just let me know anytime within the first 30 days of your coaching experience and I will promptly make arrangements to refund your charge card for the time left on your contract, and release you from that contract.
This program is about you taking positive action to develop a strong foundation on which to discover your strengths, ignite your passions, honor and celebrate your gifts and then align them in all areas to make a passionate, fulfilling, and purposeful arrangement of your life. If you participate fully, you will get the kind of results outlined. If you do not show up for the calls or do not follow through on the commitments we’ve made together, the only guarantee is that it will not work for you.
